Artist Statement:

Briana’s acrylic and oil paintings each serve as a heartfelt love letter, celebrating the beauty of God's creations and inviting viewers to share in this appreciation. Letters are sent to various places and things, frequently to flowers in all shapes and sizes, and to coastal landscapes. A connecting thread between her work is her use of bright colors, impasto finishes and cheerful themes. 

About Briana:

Briana (Bri) is a multimedia artist based in Jersey City, New Jersey, where she lives with her husband and daughter. Her passion for art has long been a means to embrace silence, disconnect from technology, and celebrate beauty. In high school, she earned her Girl Scout Gold Award by introducing art therapy to senior citizens. Years later, during the postpartum period, Briana turned to art as a healing therapy, dedicating nap times to painting and crafting gifts for friends. Through her work, she aspires to craft pieces that serve as love letters, honoring both the subjects she portrays and the individuals who receive them.
